Family and Children's Ministries

Our current rotation began on Sunday, February 19th and will end on March 12th. We are learning about Ruth and how God is with us wherever we go! The preschoolers will continue to meet with Ms. Jenny in their classroom. Our Kindergarten through 5th graders will explore Ruth through science, art, drama and cooking & games. Children are invited to come downstairs after the Children’s Time during the 9AM worship service. Our Middle School students (6th-8th grade) will meet in the Youth Room downstairs. There will be no Extravaganza for this rotation.

Our next rotation will focus on the weeks leading up to Easter. The workshops will run from March 19-April 2. On Palm Sunday, April 9th, children are invited to meet in the Gathering Area to walk into the Great Room together waving palms. Afterwards, they may come downstairs for an Easter Party & Egg Hunt! We will not have Sunday School on Easter Sunday. All children are welcome in worship to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus!

Have you ever considered serving in Children's Ministry but didn't think you had the time to commit to teaching every week? Rotational Sunday School may be what you're looking for! As a workshop leader, you choose the activities in an area that you are interested in (art, music, cooking, games, science or drama). Then, you teach the same lesson 3 times to 3 different groups. In March & April, we will begin our rotation about Holy Week and Easter. Leaders will only teach 2 weeks (3/19 & 3/26) during this rotation. If you are interested in learning more about leading a workshop, we would love to have you come down this month and check out the workshops.
