Informational Meeting and Church Conference for New Food Pantry; One Worship Service on March 19th

We are happy to announce that a lease and site plan to build the new Community Food Pantry Building at People’s Church has been approved by the Board of Trustees, the Church Council, and the Food Pantry Board of Directors. There will be an open informational meeting for the congregation regarding the lease and site plan on March 8, 2017 at 6:30 p.m.

On Sunday morning, March 19th we will only be having one worship service at 9:00 a.m. At 10:00 a.m. we will be having a special Church Conference to vote on the proposed site plan and lease. Our District Superintendent, Scott Carlson, will be presiding over the Church Conference. All members who are present will have a vote.

After the Church Conference, we will have a celebration to commemorate our new partnership with the Oregon Community Resource Network, Oregon Brooklyn Area Food Pantry, and others in the community who have supported the building of a permanent Food Pantry building.
