Learning to be a follower of Jesus Christ and developing relationships with other people is a life-long process. At People's Church, we offer small groups for people of all ages to help foster growth and so people can develop relationships.
Our Children's small groups are offered on Sunday morning through our Sunday School program during our 9 a.m. worship service. All children are invited to join their parents in worship through the children's time (about 9:15 a.m.). Then children are met by their teachers in the lobby and are taken to their classes in the lower level (parents are welcome to escort children to their classes as well). We currently offer Sunday School classes for children from three years old through 8th grade. Professional nursery care is offered for all children under the age of five.
Youth group for middle schoolers (7th & 8th grade) and high schoolers gather on opposite Wednesday nights. However, there are some Wednesday nights all youth will participate in together. Youth group meets from 6:00-7:00 on Wednesdays. Check out what's going on by taking a look at the church calendar. Youth ministry at People’s is a safe place for any youth to start and continue their faith journey with other youth and caring leaders. ALL youth are welcome – this includes children of members & friends of People’s, your children’s friends, and any youth seeking a Christian community. Youth ministry can be viewed as a bridge between Sunday school, where Bible stories are learned to get to know God, and an adult in the church, to live out your faith. Along the way a relationship with God develops.
Our adult small groups are designed to help people learn what it means to follow Jesus in their lives in a world that is not black and white. They are also a place where people are able to meet new people and develop relationships with others in the congregation. Our groups are organized in a variety of ways - from common interest, to stage of life, to time people are available.
