  • What to Expect

    The Atmosphere:

Worship services are casual. The Sunday morning Worship space (the Great Room) offers family-friendly seating where people can generally sit at either round tables or in rows with interlocked cushioned chairs. There is no assigned seating.

    The Preaching:

Most weeks, you will hear a sermon as part of Worship. Sermons usually last 15 - 20 minutes. The entire Worship service is around an hour. You can check out past Worship services on the church YouTube channel here.

    The Music:

Singing together is an important part of Worship. Services include a mixture of contemporary and traditional hymns.

  • What About COVID-19?

Protecting the most vulnerable in the church and in the wider community is of utmost importance. The spread of COVID-19 in the local community can affect whether Worship and other groups are held in person. Go to the COVID-19 Updates or Worship pages for the latest.

  • Do I need to dress up?

Some people will be dressed in their Sunday best; others simply come as they are.

  • What do you offer for my kids?

Nursery care is provided for infants, toddlers and young children. Activity bags for young children to use during Worship are available in the gathering space outside the doors to the Great Room. During the school year 2022-2023, children 4K through 5th grade are invited to attend Sunday School (but children are always welcome to remain in Worship if they and their families prefer). Every third Sunday of the month is Family Worship. Sunday School is not offered on Family Worship Sundays to give families an opportunity to worship together. Nursery care remains available on Family Worship Sundays for children birth through 1st grade. Youth Group is offered during the school week to middle- and high-schoolers. For more information, go to the Children & Youth page.

  • Where do I park?

Designated Visitor parking spaces are located in the large upper parking lot at the north entrance of the church. If Visitor spaces are full, there is plenty of space in the lot and in the adjacent Food Pantry lot.

  • Holy Communion

People’s Church practices Open Communion, which means everyone, including children, are welcome to take Communion through the grace of Jesus Christ.  Bread and grape juice are offered and a gluten-free option is also available.
